Micheal Fritz: 34 years involved in engineering, manufacturing and new product development in the bicycle, fi tness equipment and LEV industries How I got involved in LEVs In 1997, Lee Iacocca asked me to lead the product development effort for the EV Global line of light electric vehicles. I have been in this industry ever since.

SE: When and how did you get involved in LEVs?
MF: My personal motivation to continue to work in the LEV industry is my fi rm belief that this industry presents a viable, environmentally acceptable transportation alternative to
a world that is in desperate need.
